‘Peace from…’: Mark Carney praises Donald Trump for India - Pakistan ceasefire; calls him a ‘transformative’ President

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney lauded US President Donald Trump as transformative. Carney cited economic progress and Nato defense increases. He also suggested Trump eased India-Pakistan tensions. India however rejects this, stating the ceasefire followed direct military talks. The conflict began after a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. India launched Operation Sindoor in response.
