MAGA Republicans are losing their minds over an innocent social media post that includes a Spanish translation, according to The Daily Beast.

The House Republicans' X post claimed, "House Republicans believe in every American’s potential to thrive by embracing the power of work," and below that, the message was translated into Spanish.

"Some outraged conservatives questioned whether the House GOP account had been hacked, and demanded that whoever posted it to be fired," the Beast reported. "Others recalled President Donald Trump‘s March executive order that designated English as the official language of the United States."

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) exploded, “Is this a joke, @HouseGOP? We’re in America. We represent Americans. We don’t pander in foreign languages. Speak English."

Laura Loomer, who has been credited with influencing Donald Trump to fire members of his national security team, posted, “President Trump has literally signed English language executive orders. What the hell is the GOP doing?”

Tarrant County Republican Party Chair Bo French posted, “What the holy hell is this? Why isn’t this all in English?”

Some just went ahead and asked X's AI feature, Grok, directly: "did the President sign an EO designating English as the official language?"

Grok answered, "Yes, President Trump signed an Executive Order on March 1, 2025, designating English as the official U.S. language. It rescinds a prior mandate for language assistance but allows agencies to continue multilingual services voluntarily. Supporters say it promotes unity and efficiency, while critics worry it may limit non-English speakers' access to services like healthcare and voting."

Latinos for America co-founder Bianca Gracia saw the controversy differently.

"Guys, you do realize that almost 50% of Hispanics voted for Trump!!! Although we speak English, some still like to read and speak Spanish. This just shows that we haven't forgotten the Spanish Speaking audience out there and recognizing them. At least they did English and Spanish. They could have just posted in Spanish. Everyone calm down....."
