US strikes on alleged drug-running boats in eastern Pacific kill 14

The US military carried out three strikes off the coast of Colombia on Monday against suspected drug-running boats, killing 14 and leaving one survivor. The death toll from the 13 disclosed strikes since early September now stands at at least 57 people.
