US President Donald Trump increases tariffs on EU steel imports

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has announced plans to double tariffs on steel and aluminum, raising them from 25% to 50%. Speaking at a rally at a steel mill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Trump also shared more details about a deal he is negotiating between U.S. Steel and Japan’s Nippon Steel.
