UN set to reinstate sanctions on Iran as nuclear diplomacy fades

The UN will likely reinstate sweeping sanctions on Iran late Saturday, barring an unexpected breakthrough, after nuclear talks with the West floundered. The sanctions, which are are expected to go into effect on Sunday, will set up a global ban on working with companies, people and organizations accused of developing Iran's nuclear program or ballistic missiles.
