UK latest country to back Morocco's autonomy plan for Western Sahara

British Foreign Minister David Lammy said Sunday Morocco’s autonomy plan for Western Sahara is the "most credible" solution, reversing UK policy. The mineral-rich territory, largely controlled by Morocco, is claimed by Algeria-backed Polisario Front. The decades-long dispute remains unresolved.
