UAE to end midday work ban after three-month summer heat protection campaign with 99% compliance

The UAE concluded its 2025 Midday Break on September 15 with a 99% compliance rate. Running from June 15 to protect workers from extreme heat, the policy included strict work-hour restrictions, welfare initiatives, and employer obligations. With strong enforcement and support measures, it reflects the UAE’s long-term commitment to labour safety and aligns with its “We the UAE 2031” vision.
