UAE now allows visitors from 52 nations to drive with their home country licenses: See if you are eligible

The UAE now allows citizens from 52 countries to drive using their national licenses while visiting, and to exchange them for a UAE license if they become residents. Introduced under the Markhoos initiative, the update removes the need for driving tests and supports the country’s efforts to enhance digital services, streamline procedures, and strengthen international mobility agreements.
