UAE: Dubai to deploy battery swapping stations for e-bike deliveries

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in partnership with Terra Tech Ltd, is launching battery-swapping stations for electric bikes at key locations across the city. The initiative supports zero-emission delivery fleets, aligns with Dubai’s 2030 strategy to cut carbon emissions by 30%, and aims to lower operational costs while modernising the delivery sector with sustainable mobility infrastructure.
