UAE: British teen dies in police chase months after release from Dubai prison following royal pardon

Marcus Fakana, a 19-year-old British teen who was jailed in Dubai for having a sexual relationship with a minor, has died in a car crash in London just three months after his release. Fakana had received a royal pardon in July 2025. The crash followed a police pursuit, and another man has been charged with causing his death.
