Trump Refuses to Rule Out Tariffs on the UK

Trump was asked whether Starmer persuaded him not to put tariffs on the UK. Trump replied:

“He tried. He was working hard I’ll tell you that, he earned whatever the hell they pay him over there. I think we we could very well end up with a real trade deal where the tariffs wouldn’t be necessary, but we’ll see.”
