Trump increases India tariffs to 50% for buying Russian oil

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order to impose an additional 25 percent tariff on India over its purchase of Russian oil, bringing the total duties on the energy-starved country to 50 percent as Trump attempts to force an end to Russia's war in Ukraine.
