Starmer will try to persuade Trump to support Ukraine, former diplomat says

As US President Donald Trump lands in London for a second state visit, Peter Westmacott, Former British Ambassador to the US, France and Turkey, and Distinguished Fellow at the Atlantic Council, tells FRANCE 24 that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer 'will want to try to persuade Donald Trump to understand that standing up with Ukraine against Russian aggression [...] is also about the security of the United States'.
