South Africa’s Ramaphosa to visit White House amid Trump's Afrikaner 'genocide' claims

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa will meet US President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday amid tensions after the US president accused South Africa of allowing a "genocide" to take place against White farmers there. Trump's allegation that Afrikaners were being mistreated was at the centre of his decision in February to freeze US aid to South Africa.
