Romanian presidential election: Far-right candidate leads polls with 30 percent

Far-right candidate George Simion is leading the polls with an estimated 30 percent of votes in Romania’s presidential election rerun Sunday, FRANCE 24’s Maria Gerth-Niculescu said, adding that the candidate from the ruling coalition, Crin Antonescu, is currently in second place, followed by Bucharest Mayor Nicusor Dan.
