Productive Families in UAE to get full employment benefits including salaries, insurance, and pension

The General Women’s Union has launched the world’s first official employment programme for Productive Families, providing fixed salaries, pension registration, insurance, and profit-sharing. This initiative, part of the “Mother of the Nation’s 50:50 Vision,” formalises home-based women artisans’ work, offering flexible conditions and legal protections while promoting economic empowerment and preserving traditional crafts within the UAE’s sustainable development framework.
