Portugal holds day of mourning for 15 people killed in train derailment

Portugal declared a day of mourning on Thursday after a tragic derailment of the iconic Gloria funicular in Lisbon killed at least 15 people and injured 18 near one of the city’s busiest tourist spots. Lisbon prosecutors announced they were launching an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
