The panel, whose role is to “provide advice to Ofcom about specific areas of our work relevant to misinformation and disinformation” will meet on 16 May and is made up of five members on three-year terms:
- Jeffrey Howard: UCL political philosophy professor who said Boris was “morally blameworthy for inciting violence” against MPs because he used the words “surrender” and “betrayal” in political discourse.
