Lecornu Government: First reaction from President Macron

Speaking from Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, where he had just arrived to attend the “Peace Summit” on Gaza, Emmanuel Macron stated, a day after the appointment of Prime Minister Lecornu’s second government, already facing possible censure from LFI and the RN, that “it is everyone’s duty to work towards the country’s stability, rather than to gamble on instability.”
