  • IOTA recently concluded its AI TV-Ad Bounty and confirmed that the community selected five creators as the winning submissions.
  • This month, IOTA celebrated its 10th anniversary by distributing 10 million IOTA tokens to its community.

IOTA recently closed its AI TV-Ad Bounty, giving its community the reins to imagine the future of advertising through generative tools. As IOTA put it on its X account: “AI meets creativity and the results are next-level.”

The bounty contest invited participants to submit AI-generated TV commercials crafted around the themes of IOTA’s mission and technology. After submissions were collected, the IOTA community cast votes to decide which entries best captured originality, impact, and alignment with IOTA’s vision.

According to IOTA, the results of the five winners were a showcase of human-machine creativity, with visuals, clever narratives, and speculative ideas about how distributed ledgers and data sovereignty could be communicated to broader audiences.

The first-place winner, Lanrewajuh, described his entry as a creative experiment in visual storytelling: “I made a TV ad using InVideo on how IOTA is redefining connection across the world,” he explained. The second-place creator, Cigamatooi, blended multiple AI tools to craft a high-quality cinematic experience.

“About 10+ hours of work went into this clip,” he shared. “I used ChatGPTapp for the images, Higgsfield AI for the video, and ElevenLabs for the voiceover.” Other standout entries came from Madolf13, Cryptowavers, and MoonBaklava, each bringing a unique creative style to the challenge.

MOVEATHON and IOTA’s Leadership

The IOTA network also recently engaged the community with MOVEATHON Europe, a continent-wide, virtual hackathon organized by IOTA in partnership with AngelHack. MOVEATHON is inviting developers, entrepreneurs, and creators to build next-generation Web3 applications.

The competition runs from October 20 to November 16, with registration open from September 8 through November 16. Over 300 builders from across Europe and beyond are taking part in the event.

The event includes five main tracks, each focused on a different domain of innovation: DeFi & Tokenization, Digital Identity, Supply Chain, Open Advanced in Europe, and Open Novice.

Beyond just the track-based awards, bonus missions, and diversity incentives are built in. For example, there’s an Empowering Female Builders Prize for teams with at least two female builders, and additional rewards for referrals, early submissions, and community engagement totaling around $15,000 in bonus rewards.

The IOTA network has also strengthened its leadership team with two key appointments. Karen O’Brien has joined as Chief Marketing Officer for the IOTA Foundation, while Manuel Vigilius has been appointed Executive Communications Advisor and interim Head of Communications for TWIN, the trade and supply chain digital infrastructure built on IOTA.

This comes as IOTA celebrates the success of several pilot projects across Europe and Africa, which have demonstrated how its technology can digitize trade, streamline supply chains, and tokenize real-world assets through TWIN.

As indicated in our previous news story, the network is marking its 10th anniversary by giving back to its community through 10 million IOTA tokens in airdrops, staking rewards, and raffles.

As of today, IOTA is trading at $0.139483, with a 24-hour trading volume of approximately $21.08 million. The token has seen a 1.16% gain over the past 24 hours, though it remains down by about 4.96% over the past week.
