ROTTING bodies of two young people with signs of violence have been found in a holiday home in Tenerife.

Spanish cops have now launched a major investigation after the victims, believed to be a couple and foreign nationals, were found in Caledonia Park complex in Costa Adeje.

The bodies were so decomposed that they were unrecognisable, according to the Spanish police.

Authorities confirmed that both bodies were found in one of the rooms of the apartment, and that early evidence points to a “violent incident”.

It is understood that a reservation was made by a young Italian who came to spend a season of rest in the south of Tenerife along with a woman.

Cops were reportedly alerted after tourists staying in nearby rooms found a bad smell in the community corridor.
