Geogia state's first execution in more than 4 years

Georgia executed Willie James Pye for the 1993 killing of Alicia Lynn Yarbrough. Pye's appeals were rejected, leading to his lethal injection. His co-defendant Adams received multiple life sentences for his involvement in the crime.
