France's Barnier to resign as no-confidence vote sparks new political crisis

France’s Prime Minister Michel Barnier is expected to hand in his resignation on Thursday just three months into the job after losing a no-confidence vote in parliament. It is the first time in more than 60 years that a French government has been toppled in this manner, plunging the country into a deep political crisis.
