France moves to 'suspend' online retail giant Shein after outcry over childlike sex dolls

France has initiated proceedings to suspend online fast-fashion retailer Shein until it complies with French laws and regulations, the finance ministry said on Wednesday, just hours after crowds of shoppers – and protesters – turned out for the opening of the Asian e-commerce giant's first Paris store.
