Former DR Congo president Kabila loses immunity over M23 support accusations

The mineral-rich Democratic Republic of Congo's Senate overwhelmingly voted on Thursday to strip former president Joseph Kabila of his honorific immunity amid accusations of backing M23 rebels, which recently seized land in eastern DRC with Rwandan support.
