  • Fast Finality on BNB Chain reduces transaction finality time to just 7.5 seconds.
  • Binance now fully supports BNB Chain’s Fast Finality for faster, safer confirmations.

Previously, you had to wait tens of seconds to see a transaction actually locked on the BNB Chain network, but now everything has changed. Fast Finality, a long-awaited new feature, is finally officially active and fully integrated on the Binance platform.

With this upgrade, users can see their transactions finalized in less than 8 seconds. Fast, huh? But it’s not just fast—this feature also makes transactions safer because they are less likely to be canceled or reorged.

What makes this interesting is that this integration is not just a one-sided upgrade. Behind it is a combined consensus system, Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA) and Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT), which allows validators to vote to seal transactions faster. For users, this means no more waiting for blocks just to see their balance increase or NFT arrive. Just 2 or 3 blocks, and it’s done.

The integration of Fast Finality into Binance is a strategic move that brings many benefits. Not only does it speed up the confirmation process, but it also improves the overall user experience, especially for those who are active in DeFi activities, trading, or digital asset transfers.

Maxwell Boost and Near Intents Redefine User Experience

But Fast Finality isn’t the only news from BNB Chain. In early July, CNF reported the launch of the Maxwell hardfork—a quiet but impactful network update. With this upgrade, the block creation time is reduced to just 0.75 seconds.

The impact is immediately felt, especially in the GameFi and NFT sectors that require high speed. On the other hand, node synchronization is also improved so that the network remains stable even though transaction traffic is very busy.

Furthermore, in early June, BNB Chain also collaborated with Near Protocol through a feature called Near Intents. Its function? Quite unique: it allows users to make instant cross-chain swaps, without the hassle of bridges, without slippage fees, and without waiting. This is not small talk. In practice, this feature cuts out many processes that are usually a problem for users who want to move assets from one chain to another.

BNB Chain’s Smart Bot Marks a New Support Era

If you think improving network performance is enough, wait a minute. At the end of May, BNB Chain also launched an AI Bot which they say can help users and developers 24 hours non-stop.

This bot not only helps with coding and proposals, but also maintains community security, especially on platforms like Discord. It can even detect fraud, phishing, and learn from user reports. Smart enough for a bot? Maybe, but its purpose is clear: to make the experience in the BNB ecosystem safer and more productive.

Interestingly, all of these updates have happened in a short span of time. In just the past two months, BNB Chain has been rolling out improvements ranging from the network’s foundation to AI-powered tools.

Besides that, as of press time, BNB is trading at about $661.45, up 0.53% over the last 8 hours and 1.36% over the last 7 days.
