Famine in Gaza: ‘It’s not just a humanitarian crisis, it's a daily tragedy’

For the first time since the war in Gaza began in October 2023, the UN declared a famine in the Gaza governorate on August 22. The FRANCE 24 Observers team spoke to several local food distribution organisations who say the declaration “comes too late”, as part of the population “has been starving for months”.
