A BRITISH woman has died after plunging from a scenic beauty spot on the hols hotspot island Majorca.

The 39-year-old tourist was rushed to hospital in a critical condition, but tragically could not be saved.

The Brit fell about 60 feet from a lookout point in the Palma neighbourhood of El Jonquet overlooking the sea.

Local police and paramedics who responded to an emergency call stabilised her at the scene before rushing her to hospital Palma’s Son Espases Hospital.

The alarm was raised at around 8.30am on Monday morning.

The unnamed Brit was rushed via a “Green Alert” to hospital the intensive care unit as police launched their investigation
