Bordering Ukraine and Romania, Moldova is a strategic hotspot in Europe

Moldova borders southwestern Ukraine, making it a perfect base for Russia to launch attacks into Ukraine, and also as a base for possibly launching drone incursions into the EU, explains FRANCE 24’s Philip Turle.
