After agreeing to plead guilty to conspiracy, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, a key actor in al Qaeda's 9/11 terrorist attacks, and two others will reportedly avoid the death penalty following years of detention in Guantanamo Bay and pushback from families of people killed in the attacks.
