350 trekkers on Tibetan side of Everest rescued

Hundreds of trekkers were stranded near Mount Everest in Tibet due to a blizzard and unusually heavy precipitation. Rescuers successfully guided 350 trekkers to safety in Qudang, while contact was made with over 200 more. The remaining trekkers are expected to arrive in stages under government-arranged guidance.
