23 Colombian miners rescued after 43 hours trapped in gold mine

Twenty-three miners were rescued Wednesday after being trapped 43 hours in Colombia’s La Reliquia gold mine. The main entrance had collapsed Monday due to a “geomechanical failure.” Families welcomed the rescued workers with tears and applause.
